Saw the rad-onc doctor yesterday. He said the indicator is 4 year PSA =
same PSA at 15 years. Interesting.
So may we have a drum roll?
Remember this PSA test is 3 years out from IMRT and brachytherapy.
Ready??
YES!!!! I'm excited!
PSA = 0.04
YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Jim and Tom. The initial mental high is finally settling into a more
comfortable thank goodness. Knowing what I do now compared to where I was 4
years ago I realize how important this low number is and I am so thankful.

Oh, I'm savoring it and hoping it will drop even slightly lower. But at this
point I guess it doesn't have to drop any lower - just as long as it doesn't
rise, ever!

Great news for you guys. I trust that also holds true for RRP -
actually, I've always heard that the benchmark for RRP is 5 years. Once
you get that far you've got it made in all but a rare case.
I had my blood draw for my (Lucky) 13th post-RRP PSA test. Last one was
still <0.1 using the test they switched to. Before that it was <0.03
using the hyper-sensitive PSA assay.
Friday or Monday I should have the results which, hopefully, will
reflect the previous tests.
Today was five years, five weeks and a handful of days post-op

Crossing my fingers for another good PSA test result.
Hey, I believe, you can now give blood and donate organs you've past the
magical 5 year mark if this PSA comes in as good as the last!

Thanks. I'll cross my fingers for you!
Radiation does work. Now you guys just have to live another 30 years to
prove it to the world, LOL
