Update: Just to let you know:

My Uro consultation with Dr Tom Shannon will be done @ SCGH, June 30
and will be free :)

My HDR Brachytherapy will be done during my hospitalisation July 11 to
14 and will be free. Your Uro will also be there as well as Tom
Shannon.

I have one more EBRT to go April 26, (after Anzac Day hol).

I'm re-starting work on April 28 and will go thru to June 25, as much
as possible if the ADT doesn't slap me around too much.

I may have to wear a catheter for some time after the HDRB as I have a
stricture legacy from a TURP done in 1989 :-(

Will keep you posted.

If you are a nit-picker, actually it was 0.13 at the 18 wk mark, due
to the ADT.
The EBRT started from wk 20 and HDR Brachy is scheduled for mid July
2005.
My Active treatment regime is for 18months ADT, 23 fractions EBRT and
3 fractions HDR Brachy under the Clinical Trial and is for 18 mths
total.
The monitoring then continues until end of 2013. (if I'm still
around).

**wonder where xyz is from southern Western Australia ? (probably gone
fishin') lol.

Never too wet to fish. It's spring here and the fish are migrating.Different
species than you folks see, but fun just the same.

Kendenup your location (from memory).
OK on the fishing due to the rain. We haven't had much up here in
Kwinana so far. It's been so dry, we put in a bore and retic. and then
it rained for a day lol.
Re: your treatment:
Did you have the Lucrin and Androcur at the same time?
The Zometa indicates you were assessed as a bone density risk at the
beginning. I wasn't and now all my bones are extremely painful in the
Osteo Arthritis sites going back to when I fell off a push-bike as a
kid. The last blood test included Calcium, so I may get some Zometa as
well??.
On your Dec 04 and Mar 05 PSA's does the doc show any concern? The
next PSA test should indicate a trend, hopefully downward.

Hi Clarence
Started lucrin, androcur and zometa at the same time in Jan 04
Doc was'nt to concerned about the Psa, I'm more concerned about it with the
initial gleason of 9 so I'm anxiously waiting for the next test in June.
Had the last of the androcur July 04 so it should have cleared my system by
now and not distort psa readings.
cheers
