In January, 1997, my first ever PSA at a routine physical was 45.5.
Biopsy results with 6 cores were 6's, 7's and one 8.  Bone scan was OK
and lymph node biopsies from the surgery on March 5, 1997 were OK.  I
was 68 years old.

For 3 years my PSA stayed at less than 1.0, but not <0.1  When It
started to rise my urologist began to treat me with Lupron and Casodex.
For the past 2 years on Lupron only.

So here I am eight years later at age 76 and just back from my
quarterly appointment with my doctor.  PSA remains at <0.1.  Another
three-month Lupron shot and an appointment for July 12.

Sounds great Dick, keep it up (no pun intended).

Dick

Has there been any discussion of additional modalities of treatments?
Any suggestions of discussion with a medical and/or radiation
oncologist?  I believe that it is becoming more common to get a "team"
approach beyond just the advice of a urolgist in high risk pCa.  ADT3
will work for a good while, but it may not be enough to prevent a
relapse or a bout of AIPCA from occuring.

I seem to recall more information about you from earlier postings, but
am giving you a "gut" level opinion based on your recent posting.

Glad you checked in again, Dick.  And very happy to hear you're PSA is
