Tom Cular - 02 Apr 2005 18:34 GMT I went today for the first PSA blood draw since the seed implant in June 04 ant the last 4 mo.Lupron shot in Oct. 04. I've had the script. since Oct. but it was dated 4/05, both the Urologist and Radiologist wanted to wait this long to minimize any Lupron effects on the test. I have an appt. with the Uro. on the 12th., but the lab tech told me the Dr. should have the results no later than the 5th. After waiting this long I plan to give him a call after lunch on the 5th. As has been said many times here, the procedures aren't that bad, it's the damned waiting.

Steve Kramer - 02 Apr 2005 20:52 GMT The last time I got tested, I asked them to send the results to me. I thought I'd have a fight, but they just said, "okay." They did and I got them back 2 or 3 days after the draw.

Following what you had said, I spoke to LabCorp today re: results, they said to request results in 72 hrs. from the draw; however weekends don't count, from a consumer point of view: go there on Sat. or Mon. it's the same :-( I'll find out on Wed. or Thurs. It's been 10 mos. since Johnny Appleseed did his thing and 6 mos. since the last Lupron shot, my patience is beginning to get very short. Probably gravitated by the fact that there were some inclinations to play Sat AM that were put on the back burner, due to the forthcoming PSA blood draw. I suppose I can always blame my bit%&y mood on the Lupron.

You can bet I'll be there early (donoughts, coffee, whatever) . I'm tired of waiting for results. My wife said that I'm being a PIA and told me to go work in the yard to relax; she was right! BTW we have a new puppy, Lab / Shar-Pei mix, at 4 mos. he looks like an old man; makes me look good as far as wrinklrs are concerned,
