it was on the radio. it was for the robot surgery and the hospital is
in the next state that is doing the advertisement.
the ad was stressing the fear of a man when he hears he has prostate
cancer, and how just a few millimeters could mean the difference between
incontinence and impotence. that the new robot unit that this hospital
will increase their chances of recovery. call..............
anybody else hearing ads like this one in your area???

What a bunch of Bullshit.....
What happened if you moved, or burped. or what...
Who Drives the Robot?
A Dr. has to tell the Robot where to go and what to do.
Anyway, If we have Robots that can do this Prostate Removal for us without
any trouble. Go for it!
Why cant we balance the budget?
I prefer a real Dr....
I guess I am old fashion.....
Good wishes........

Uhh . . . the robot IS guided by a surgeon, probably one who grew up on
video games.
I wish I'd had that option readily available.

A month or so ago I saw a story on tv about fighter planes of the future
(the near future according to that story). The pilot was sitting in a
cubicle using remote controls to fly the plane. That made me feel better
about my grandson that spends most of his non-school waking hours in front
of a Nintendo unit of some kind (he has a portable one for in the car, and
each grandparent has a machine so he can bring his games and play at any
house). When he arrives he fly's by me heading for the Nintendo (not sure
if he knows who I am?). I used to worry, but now I know he has a bright
future in the Air Force.

Not nearly as old-fashioned as you may think. Do you trust your computer
controlled car to propel you at 70 MPH? Or the computer-controlled green
light as you approach an intersection with an 18-wheeler coming to the same
intersection from your right? Or, do you climb aboard an airplane?
Considering what I have seen in 50 short years, I wouldn't be surprised to
see a robotic surgeon in my next 50.

There will be more recognition of Pca and promotion of treatment and
drugs as the Baby boomers approach the age where it normally appears.
In ten years it will probably evolve to the highest rate of disease in
men.
Follow the money!
