got the results of this last psa test.

down from .05

will see the surgeon next wednesday to kick around what's going on.  

23 months post op.

Congratulations!!  I've got to wait 90 days until we retest. I'm hoping mine
goes down as well.

That is encouraging. I know you were worried about 0.05. As I said
earlier this week, my PSA went from .03 to .07 over the last 6 months.
I am encouraged that it might also start going down again.

this is the joker in the deck.  here's some facts.  one person had an RP
5 years ago and has numbers similar to yours now.  but they dropped from
07 to .05 on his last psa test.  

there's seems to be two paths post op RP'ers follow when the psa rises.

1. the psa sorta 'floats' and gradually increases.

2. the psa has a general upward trend without going backwards.

i'm meeting with the surgeon next week for a more in depth explanation
on this and why.  so, stay tuned, if i find out any thing, i will post
it.
