It's been 5 weeks now since my  robotic surgery. Doing pretty good..dont
pee my pants..but? sometimes if I raise up too fast I will leak a few
drops. My weener is still DEAD??? still  scared? Rash has cleared up
thank God...still sore on thigh where Cath support was removed along
with a lot of hair. Still hurts as I start to urinate..is this ok ? Also
been getting up about 3am with cold sweats, have to turn a fan on. Is
this something to do with the removal of the Prostate? Also noted, my BP
is up somewhat..145/83..any advice appreciated..good group....Howie

BP? The 83 is not great but not bad it that top number the 145, that you
need to work on. It should be lower. Just calm down!!! If you don't calm
down you will find yourself on BP meds!! So just kill the stress. It's over
and you are now going to deal with the aftermath. Things will get better -
time is your ally.

Agree here, Ms. Bev.......my thoughts are the same.  And perhaps he should
speak to his doctor about something for his stress.  The cold sweats could
be caused by "nerves".  He forgets he has just had an op and his system is
slightly out of kilter!!

I wonder if you have a low-level infection.  The body reacts to major
surgery in different ways.  I may be nothing.  Whatever it is, I doubt if it
is serious, but it maybe something.

Dead weener here too, 20 months post RRP.   But Willie was almost dead
before the surgery, so....

I would call your doctor about the cold sweats, BP, and that it still hurts
when you start to urinate.  If you had robotic surgery chances are you only
had the catheter for a week or so.  I would think the stinging when you
start to pee would be gone by now.

As they told me here when I had my surgery, the prostate is a part of you
body's hormonal system, and they just chopped it out.  It will take awhile
for your systems to restabilize and for the internal wounds to heal.  Do not
be surprised if you have some problems during the first six months.  For me
it was fatigue.  I have seen a lot of guys here report that.

Good luck!
