Thanks for all the info and kind comments found here.
With surgery scheduled for March 21st...and meeting the surgeon
tomorrow...my internist called late afternoon and said that the thallium
part of the stress test that I took last week was normal but they think
that maybe there is a 'false positive?' for the electrical part. (1st
part).
He wanted me to see the cardio guy.
I can only get to him NEXT week on March 17th.
He also mentioned mitral valve prolapse (which is not terrible).
All of this is making me even more anxious than before. (if possible)
I am so overwhelmed by everything.
First the PC, then the hot spots on the bone scan...now this.
Still sedated and was asleep at 7pm last night.
This is nuts.
Thanks,
Ron B.

I took a cruise right before my surgery. I wonder how I would have handled
it if I had all day and all night to think about it.
However, if no one has told you before, I'm here to tell you.... being the
patient on the day of surgery is the best job in the lot.

Go see him, and try to keep calm.
While not the same sort of thing, I had a vaguely similar experience.
My regular doctor found what he thought was an abnormal wiggle on my
electrocardiogram, so I had to arrange for a stress test days before the
scheduled surgery. Fortunately it ws normal. Let the cariologist and
Dr. Catalona get all this straightened out between them. They are the
experts, and they aren't going to agree on surgery if there is a
significant risk. The worst that can happen to you---and I think it is
unlikely---is that you will end up having radiation rather than surgery.
