It sounds to me like you need a lower dose. The goal is a good erection
that lasts about an hour. Sensation is better when not so blown up. For
me, climax lasts about 3 times as long as before and is as intense as
ever. It does take longer to get there than it did before ( about twice
as long). Good luck.

   It is not easy to decide to use a shot when it only took a kiss, and a
hug, and some very wonderful scents that make mens ears stand up!
I used prostaglandin.  It was a refrigerated compound that I used for about
1 year.....I bought more after six months.
It was different.  I felt like I had a ballon erection.....It is
chemical....It lasted way to long.....It hurt....."It works"
I found in the a.m. it is best to use that type of injection.  You can walk
it off.
At night, after sex, I would lay up for 3 hours, trying to get the dam
erection to go away.....It really was painful////
Funny, after the pump, the injections, and viagra headaches.....I started to
get real spontaneous erections......
I fugure the time I spent, and the money to get my penis up and running was
worth it!
After all with 1 nerve spared, and love sex....I would be like an
athlete.....if my leg hurt I would practice to make it better.
So anyway...keep trying, and do adjust the dose. Walk....really...walk a
lot....it helps with recovery, and sexual function.
I now use about 35 mgs of a 100 mgs viagra pill.  Wow! it works....
Also, put it under your tongue.....let it sit there for 15 minutes....let it
dissolve.....It comes on quicker....

Boy, am I glad you started this thread, Bobby - now, I can talk about my
pecker concerns, again.. (lol)

I'm 3 months and a week post-op and will be peeing er seeing my urologist
for the 2nd time since RP tomorrow and I'm SURE THIS TOPIC WILL COME UP..
I've read in this "best on the net" wonderful SIG about the pumps, Viagra
and the shots and am mentally prepared (however, not quite as monetarily
prepared) to do whatever it takes to have ol' Charley perk up, again.
However, the question to you guys is even if you do get these nice erections
with whatever works - how do you use them with these horribly sore bellies.
I mean a full frontal attack would be out of the question for me, right now
- OUCH!!

With or without erections - I'd like to get back to at least "pretending."
Any ideas as to how long it takes our bellies (inside and out) to not hurt
as much???  What did you guys do in the meantime?  I'd love to think I'm
back in the gym and I can just "work through the pain," but something tells
me we could cause some damage down in there...

Here is my two cents worth on the shots.  After little or no success with
Viagra, I got a prescription of Alprostadil. Six shots for $188.  Expensive
but it worked great and the erections lasted one to one and a half hours.
On my last visit to the URO I talked him into a prescription for Tri-Mix,
which I will use for the first time this week.  A minimum of 10 shots for
$134.  From what I read on ProstatePointers, most folks can get
significantly more than 10 shots from the batch.  One sidepoint, my
erections are much stronger when standing or walking around, while reclining
makes them go away sooner.  So this does give ma a little control on how
long they last.

As far as having a climax, I've only had one since starting the shots and it
was terrific.  Definitely takes longer to achieve it.   And it is longer
lasting than in the past, but I must admit I will always miss the ejaculate
which is gone forever.
