16 days after Robotic thing..2 days cath out.is it normal to have rectal pain which seems to be behind tail bone ? Also not wearing Depends, seem to be no leaking ? If I go out I put some Viva (Soft) papertowel down there. Why is it so irritated, itchy, scaly down there ??? I keep it clean and try to keep dry, use medicated powder..? Doc put me back on 4 more days of antibiotics for slight UI...anybody else "Crusty" and irritated way down South ? Howie Howie, I'm about 21 days out from Robotic. No depends either. I had problems down south and happened when the cath. came out. I couldn't urinate and ended up straining and popping a hemmoroid. I had to get recatherized. ( Actually twice.) Are you sure it's not a roid? Did you have problems with urinating after cath came out? Were you on pain killers? Any blood in your urine? No blood, in fact no blood day after surgery. Guess it will hurt down there awhile...took pain pill this evening. Was able to do #2..no roids, no blood..peeing ok all over the foor and shower curtain but at least peeing. Prostate is attached to rectal wall..so wall is sore and weak...important not to become bound up..NO cheese, no spices banannas etc..on stool sofners also andback on antibiotics for UI...
