Nothing is normal......
Eat prunes, walk.......take showers, and protect the area of incision.
Yes, it hurts, and yes you either have staples, or a belley button that had
a prostate sucked through.
I am not sure where the robotic pulls the prostate out.  All in all, it is
in an area where we are very familiar....by the belley button.
Walking helps bloating.  Drinking water and walking is best.
Eating prunes, and throwing away the other drugs they give you is best.
Stand up, wash yourself, get in some gym clothes, walk........
Come home and collapse......Then do it over again.... and again and again.
That is my description of recovery, from a robot or a man.
LOve my friends,,sorry you are suffering.....
Walking helps...
I run.......I am fat, but for 5 or 6 years I run......It is very helpful,
and walking is just as good.  Make sure it is 2 to 4
miles......serious.....Hum........
In other words..get up, walk, get in order do your job, and do yor walk////

Been walking...cant sit too long, feels better to stand and move around,
helps get bowels moving also. Dr said Prostate was  the size of that of
3 men... maybe that's why where it came out incision is about 2" long
and hurts..it's about a bit to the left of belly button.  Can see no
stitches or staples. I go to Uro tomorrow to get cath ou and to discuss
everything..    Howie

I had standard RRP with a huge incision, so my experience was much worse
than yours and I can't offer any advice except to suggest that if you
are bloated you may need to move around more.  Take walks, don't let
anybody fetch things for you, don't use the TV remote...
