For those who may have trouble proving they were in Vietnam (in country), or
have DD214 problems (needing it and not having it), or have trouble with
Vietnam medals not awarded - I have lots of solid suggestions, answers, and
advice.

I've been there and done that.

I am an Air Force Vietnam Vet with prostate cancer who underwent
brachytherapy not knowing of VA benefits pertaining to Vietnam and Agent
Orange.

I know that there are many out there who need information on all this stuff,
so that is the reason for my post here.

The information I have is massive and a bit too much to post here.

Email me if you are in need of such.

My intention here is not to obtain money or anything else for that matter -
even though I would not turn away money or your own two cents for that
matter....

With this I brave computer viruses, computer worms, Trojans, Spam, etc.

In addition to prostate cancer may God help me!

Thanks for pitching in George.  Suggest you repost your offer every two
months or so, so that it doesn't age off.

Make your next computer an Apple, and say goodbye to viruses and other
infections!

And perhaps get a computer that actually WORKS. The last IBM-compatible PC I
owned that actually worked was an IBM, circa 1983. None of my Dells has been
worthy of the word, "computer", being unable to even handle even the basics
of browsing, newsgroups, or word processing without throwing up constantly.
I can't comprehend anyone's wanting to use a PC for anything more important
than entertainment and casual communication, at about the level of that $75,
13" idiot box on my desk.

But that's another world, isn't it? Sorry for ranting OT, but I'll never
forgive Dell and Microsoft for stealing a full year from my remaining time
on this earth.

George doesn't use a "home" computer. I know we just paid for a new one!!
And as a MS programmer he would dream of owning a piece of fruit. LOL

I'm ex AF Vietnam vet (66-67)  22 TASS Binh Thuy AB.

Have not contacted the VA regarding Pca.  I do have a C number though.
Do you think I should?  My Pca has been taken care of two years ago.

I would. That PC may come back. OTOH, if your HMO is performing well and
free, maybe the VA can't add much to the picture for you. It IS sorta nice,
though, walking out of a hospital after surgeries, meds, hormone injections,
long stays, etc. and never seeing a bill. In fact I walk out with 43 new
bucks in my pocket to pay for my gas.

But, man . . . the FOOD! Stick with your HMO. ;-)

Dale, email me or George and we'll give you the info.  Yes! It is worth it!
Even  if you like your doctors and have health insurance paying for
everything there still is the administration side of the VA and they do pay.
Consider it as combat pay they owe you.
