just came back from my urologist today. My first PSA after radical
prostetectomy that was performed on 11/10/04 is...... .03. Feel
relieved. Didn't expect it to be above .1, but you never know. Hope it
just stays this low for a long, long time. My uro wants to have another psa
test in 3 months. Not sure if its every 3 months for the 1st and then once
per year.

Hi, Mike....
Congrats on the undetectable PSA!
My uro suggested every 3 months the first year.... every 6 months the second
year... and now I'm at once a year...
Take care! And take a deep breath! Feels good to get those results,
doesn't it?

Congratulations! On with life!
In the Johns Hopkins system which is my HMO, PSA testing is after three
months and then annually.

RP in 99. PSA undetectable as of 01/24/05. I don't think the PSA test
is a big deal. If Doc says get it monthly then that's what I would do
as I feel he has the knowledge and training to make the decision. I
don't possess that expertise.

Great results! And a good doc. I think quarterly tests are so much better
than semiannually during your first year or two.
