Curt failed the ht therapy completely so our new doc. love him to death!!.
he is in his 40's and so happy that we are still able to have sex. our
previous doctor actually thought that Curt was pretending that he needed the
Viagra refilled as a pride thing!! what an a.s he was.
Curt's biggest lesion is in his left pelvis and sacra area in the spine so
he starts his 2nd week (of 3) of radiation to those two areas. they said
they would be putting tattoos on those spots for landmarks, I asked them to
put LSM (my initals) on him but they just put dots. 6 of them, so I told
Curt that I get to get 6 more tattoos too. <g>
He will also be starting Chemo. They want him in a trial for a new drug
called MEDI-522 in addition to Taxotere and Decadron and Zometa. because he
was on Avodart and needed to be off it for 6 wks we originally said no but
then when we went in for 1st dose of Chemo, his pain was so bad that we were
immediately sent to the radiation onocologist and he was mapped for
radiation. since that will take 3 weeks we figure what is 3 more (half of 6
lol) weeks. so he will try for the clinical trial. 50-50 chance.
that is what's new in the miller house. Ice fishing is here so that is where
he will be. they caught 12 walleyes (3 guys with a 4 limit). he goes to Lake
Mille Lacs and stays for 3-4 days.
