Laproscopy surgery..any comments? Doc said no cancer in bones but wants
me to see a bone doc about my left knee???? I have no problems with my
knees during the day but at night sometimes I get sharp pains in
knee(s)...thighs also.. Howie

Hell yes, Gleason 6 and stage T1C means you're headed for a cure.

Hello Howie, go for it!
Arhritis....
I had IMRT.
Doc said, hum, you must be a carpenter. Yes, I am.....
I see no mets. Cancer Mestasized. (cant spell)
In other words what they see are bones and joints that are compromised, but no spread of cancer.
You have a go ahead....
Good Luck, and wish you no troubles...
Knees, shoulders, hands...show sign of calcification...normal
I am not a Dr.
Good wishes.

Thanks John..yep, I was a VW Mechanic for 25 years up in Watertown
NY..40 below winters, 80 below wind chills..Ice Storms, Blizzards..Lake
effect etc..and we had to push frozen cars into the shop, lots of
lifting, tugging, pushing..staying in the cold trying to start a
car..lifting tires, transmissions..you get the picture? Funny thing,
knees ok in daytime but hurt at night? Howie

Not sure about the knee. Perhaps worried about circulatory problems
in that area?
T1C means that you are in very good shape, as far as somebody with
cancer can be. Get it treated and put this unhappy chapter of your
life behind you.
Good luck. I hope they can do something to help you with the knee
pain. For me it is the hips.
BTW, I was PSA 5.0, Gleason 6, and T1C.
Thank you.

Your problems with your knee are unlikely to have anything to do with
your prostate cancer. But it won't hurt to have an orthopedist check.
And he may find out what is really causing your pains and treat it.
