Had my appointment with Oncologist.  Options under consideration are EBR and
maybe Seeds.  Given my turp, the seeds apparently may not be the best way to
go.

My Gleason is 7.  Perineural invasion seen as well, however the
transurethral resected specimen showed benign hyperplasia.  The report also
says there is no evidence of secondaries.

I'm still giving this a lot of thought and want to learn more before I make
the final decision.  In the meantime, he has given me Flutamide 250 mg.

Best wishes to all.

Sorry to see you join the club, Cliff.  The transneural stuff is probably the
remains of your turp, harmless.  But you have prostate cancer, as the doc
obviously told you.  The radiation will probably be used to take out some
surrounding tissue, as well as the prostate, given that invasion.
I assume they have done a CT scan and a bone scan to check for mets.
Anyway, good luck!  We hope to hear from you here for a long, long, long,...
time.
