hi folks - ever once an while, we get to see something that is going to
happen instead of responding to something that has happened.

garry trudeau is using his doonesbury column for some humor on the
M-word and prostate cancer.  remember, when they said that masturbation
was good to prevent prostate cancer?

the milwaukee journal-sentinel sent out a questionnaire to other
newspapers on whether or not they are going to publish his column on
this.

the first issue starts sept 7th by the way.

34 papers responded.  19 said they would not run the strip but opted to
substitute another strip from their subscription service.  3 papers said
they were not sure.

you might want to do a search on this and post some of the things you
find.  i think you'll find this to be interesting as to how society
treats this subject.

knowledge is power - growing old is mandatory - growing wise is optional

Judging by the response we got here on that subject, the newspapers are
missing a sure bet for increased circulation.
