Hi folks. Just back from two-week vacation. Drove with my wife and
dog from L.A. to Denver. I am almost five months post RRP. I had no
pee problems. No dribbling, no having to get to a bathroom quickly.
Hauled luggage and stuff with no dribbling. In fact I forgot about
it. So I feel quite fortunate in deed. Still no blessing from the
Woody Gods. Second postop PSA in a couple of weeks. The posts really
piled up after only two weeks. BTW, I trust Dr. Robert Smith at UCLA
implicitly. Sure there are a.sholes out there in every field but
there are also good guys who do the right thing at the right time.
Regarding the Clayton, CA club member, get to a University Center at
Stanford or any big city in California. For heaven sake don't wait
till someone has tried to do the procedure or particularly someone who
appears to be holding back on another doc's opportunity. My urologic
sugeon has been operating for 30 years, that's the kind I went for.
Got to have someone who does this routinely during the week.

Hi Chuck:
Just wanted to welcome you back and congratulate you on having no
problems on the trip. Believe me, at this point I envy you no drips. I
also envy you being able to tolerate a car seat for a long drive.
Sorry to say no blessings here from the sacrifice to Waste Management,
Inc. Willie's mouth is no longer full, but all he does is dribble and hide
out. Curtis said my condition is called "turtle head". It is there, but
just barely peeks out.
Glad you had a good time on vacation. Good luck on the second post-op
PSA.
Thank you.
