I have seen several negative posts relative to the use of Muse and
thought I should post the positive side. Finally after 1 year and 27
days there is success on the ED front. After too long in the "close
but nothing useful" stage, my wife and I had a great evening! As
referenced in my one year PSA post, my urologist gave me a
prescription for several levels of Muse. He called out 250, 500 and
1000 mcg for evaluation in conjunction with a bit of Viagra. Started
at 250 with joyful results. WOW! We can't wait to try the 500 and
1000! Yes, there was initially a minor burning sensation but
absolutely no problem.  I am confident that medication will not be
required long term.
As a note, during surgery one nerve was saved.
I assure others there is further hope, it is frequently stated
sensations are disappointing post surgery: however, that is not
necessarily the case and was certainly not the case here.
To all that are concerned about ED, in most cases things will get
better. Medications can help to accelerate recovery and an optimistic
outlook helps.

Sounds great Steve M.  I remember using injections......It was tough at
first, did have some painful reactions on occassion, but in the long run,
helped me and with one nerve spared also.
Now a bit of viagra or nothing........works........
Good wishes to you and your wife!

Hi Steve,

My numbers are similar to yours. I'm now one year and two months. Age 63.
Had LRP -one nerve spared. Tried the Muse and Caverjet with pain at 3 1/2
months. Haven't tried since. Would appreciated it if you would email me
for more information on the subject.
Thanks, Ron

Now, just remember what your mother always told you: "Practice makes
perfect!"
