I just read about treatment for cancer to the mandible, or lower jaw.
I have prostate cancer.
I also am about to undergo a dental operation for the surgical removal
of toris (singular=tori). These are bone growths growing out of the
inside of the lower jaw. (I can live with them, and have for 76 years,
but now that I will need some type of dental bridge, they must be
removed to fit the bridge.)
Question: Does anyone know of or have experience with heavy dental
work, or even moderate dental work, resulting in the cancer
metastasizing to the area worked on.

That's a great question. I know the PCa settles in lymph nodes closest to
the prostate, but I don't know how it determines where in bones it is going
to matasticize.

BTW, how long have you had PCa? What is your current status?

Thanks guys for the information. I appreciate it.
The general consensus from the medical, (urologist and dentists) seems
to be no known problem *. Your comments seem to confirm. Anyway, I
remember now, I've already had some surgery where the periodontist had
a "good time" scrapping and grinding into the bone. No problems yet.
* I use the term "known". I guess if anything develops, It'll add to
the general knowledge so the next guy .....
