Hello my friends.
I just got back from a nice trip into the mountains. 2 weeks of wonder
and camping, and spider bites, fishing and swimming.
I yet have to get my PSA blood test and that will happen in the next few
days. I am going on 5 years...................................
All you guys suffering, and awaiting the tests, the biopsy, the mental
aspects.......
I share with you one idea.
We are still here.
John Loomis
The camping trip was wonderful. I have not had a real shower in 2 weeks. I
caught wild trout, Lake Trout, and went diving for lures....
Went on a nice hike to a High Mountain Lake.
I believe that getting out there, and pushing yourself helps heal!
Anyway, what do I know.
I am looking forward to another 5......
Good wishes to you all......
Making contact.

Hi John,
You've got it! Exercise is essential to good health. What a great way to get
that exercise! What part of the world did you do these wonderful things?

I went to the Sierra's, Ice House Road, climbs up to about 7,500 ft. to
8,000.
Loon Lake is a high sierra lake and very blue...........
Gherle Creek Resevoir is near the lake and we camp there. It is a no motor
boat lake, and I bring a row/sail (fold boat) I dive with a wetsuit and
look for lures.
German brown trout (native) hard to catch............
Also Caples Lake area..........near Kirkwood......another high sierra
lake......7,000 to 8,000 Troll for lake trout there.....Motors
allowed......Nice lake, clear blue water, and fishing in Aug.
is fair......water is warm and fish are deep.
I find lots of lures there also......
Maybe I found about 200 this year............25 ft deep or less....

That sounds like a wonderful peaceful vacation. I can just picture canoeing
on those lakes with a beautiful sky above, the quiet lap of the water and
the calls of water fowl.

Hello Beverly,
I got stuck today for my 5 year PSA.....Did not even feel it! Glad that
is done. Wait for numbers.........
Yes, the lakes are canoo able, kiyak able, and swim-able. We fish for wild
trout in the rivers, In the morning troll for lake trout or fish...Swim in
the Noon hour, hike and explore.
BBQ dinners and pot luck. Bed early......John

That is 89....Carson River Area, Blue Lakes, Red Lake, Caples Lake. I take
the immigrant trail from 50...That is Placerville, Pollock Pines (Ice House
Road) Ice house has many lakes. Union Valley, Ice House resevoir, Gherle
Crk res. Loon Lake. Many trails, and bicycle roads, and general camping.
On 89 there are numerous stopoffs.........Markleville has a Hot Spring and
it is (cool) Grover Hot Springs.
