i have been noticing that i have been real thirsty lately. could be from
hot flashes from lupron or then again from the high humidity we have been
having in the northeast lately. has anyone else noticed increased thirst
as a side effect from lupron. i was previoulsy treated with taxotere which
ended last november.

Thirst can be from any number of things totally unrelated to your lupron.
This little symptom is best discussed with your doctor and maybe have a
simple blood test just to rule out something very important such as
diabetes.

I don't recall being more thirsty on Lupron.  Bev may
be onto a more common cause.

Casey,
I think Bev is on the right track, I've been on Lupron for nine months with
no increase in thirst.

My thirst has been on the increase since the Lupron and the diabetes
concern was brought up however I haven't been tested for it.   It was
duly noted though and will be looked at.

Sorry.  I am on Lupron, but I drink many glasses or bottles of water a day.
So, other than 2? miles into a 5-mile walk where there are not fountains, I
generally do not get thirsty.

Hi Casey

Did you get any benefit from that taxotere treatment?    Your post suggests
that the taxotere did not work and so you were put on lupron.

Sorry that I can't help you with suggestions about the thirst.

Best wishes.

Outstanding!

Is that the end of your therapy or are they continuing
to treat you with more chemo and/or HT?

Do keep us posted.
