About 3 years ago I had seeds implanted. All has gone well until
recently. My ejaculate (what little there is of it) has turned brown.
Not red like blood but brown. What would cause this?

Please respond to newsgroup

Thanks for your help in this matter.

Sounds like old blood that has been on the sidelines for a while.  I
would certainly check with my uro on this.

After my biopsy: 20 hours - bright red, 5 days - dark red, two weeks -
dark brown, 4 weeks - pale brown, 5 weeks - clear.  Urologist seemed to
think this normal.  However, sudden appearance of brown colour is worth
reporting, I think.

Report away, but I passed a clot months after my surgery, and it was
normal too. Think about it... if you were bleeding internally after all this
time, you'd know it!

Blood in ejaculate is brown.

Sounds like what showed up after my biopsy --- dead blood cells.

Yellow and red make brown.
