I've been on Lupron for eight months and having the usual problems with
hot flashes and no libido.  Started 200 mcg selenium daily about a month
ago.
.
About 2 weeks ago I started developing tiny very itchy bumps under my
skin on ankles, wrists and elbows.  They aren't red like bug bites or
poison ivy.  Stopped the selenium immediately.
.
Now, two weeks later the itching is still as intense as ever.  Wondering
if the hated Lupron could be the source of my problem.  (Not good as my
last shot is scheduled to be in August 2005)  Anyone else have this
reaction from Lupron or selenium?

Pete:

I haven't had any problem with selenium, and I've been taking 200 mcg
since last October.  (YMMV)

Pete,
I am blaming Lupron for dry skin and some itching but nothing like
those tiny itchy bumps...yet...knock on wood.  Heck, give me half a
chance and I'll blame Lupron for a lot of things.  I haven't heard
about this selenium thing.  What's that for?
