I am having RPP tomorrow, 6/16. I had my biopsy April 28th, and I
think found this group the same night. I was feeling pretty put upon
that evening, as I was sure that with a PSA of 3.3 and age of 49 a
biopsy was pretty agressive and unnecesary. I got the news May 3 or
4th, I think. 3 of 12 cores positive. 3-3, 3-3, and 3-4.
I can not tell you how much this group has meant to me, and I couldn't
have the surgery without a thank you to all of you who have posted in
this last month or so. It has been both valuable and comforting, and I
think has really helped with keeping my head on straight.
By best wishes to all of you as you jorney down this path, I hope to
rejoin you in a few days, and to do a little more posting as the days
go on.
Thanks again, take care,
Bill

Bill,
Hey, you'll do fine.
Remember, that catheter is your friend. Like a bandaid over a nasty cut,
you want to keep it till it's done its job.
I think you deserve a prize for the lowest PSA on this group.

Hi Bill,
Great job in finding the nasty disease......
You know that is the major battle.
Finding the enemy before he finds you!
Now since you have found him, you can deal with him.......
You are on the road to recovery my friend.
Good wishes to you!
I was dx'd when I was 49. I found the enemy, and tore him out! (Drs did)
I am 54 now.

Nice to hear from you, Bill. Glad you checked in. Gives a chance to pray
for a little intercession on your part. As you've probably figured out by
now, 3.3 is excellent and 3+7 is so-so. You should either be cured or live
to see a cure.
