According to Reuters Health Information, by Will Boggs,MD, the radiation
dose from one abdominal CT scan has been  estimated to be equivalent to
100 to 250 chest x-rays. One controversial study has attributed 2500
deaths a year to CT examinations in the US.
"Given the current debate about the possible increased cancer risk
associated with diagnostic CT scans", the investigaters write, we believe
that it is important that the radiology community make current information
regarding CT radiation dose more widly available.
More information on radiation can be found at MedlinePlus.

I must have received the equivalent of 1000 - 2500 chest xrays.

From RP to Salvage within a year - It feels like I received a radiation dose
equivalent to the Hulks.

Well, I don't like to even think about what I have been through - the
treatments - I try to stay positive - day by day - and fight to stay
healthy.

I am grateful to God, and those of you that have helped me through it all.

Going through RP and Salvage has forced me to be appreciative of each hour I
live and to enjoy each moment.

Wishing everyone the best of health and success.

Never give up.
