Phoenix 5 has risen from the ashes!  Its back up and running.

==================================

Those of us who have been here for a while got used to seeing this post
every few weeks.

I don't want to see it scroll off the archives and be lost forever, so I
took it on myself to re-post it.

Robert may be gone, but he is still helping men and their companions.

Note that Caren recently entered a new essay:
http://www.phoenix5.org/updates.html

His posts always said:

"After his diagnosis on 11/23/99, Robert Young started building the Phoenix5
Web site to help other men and their companions. It now has over 1300 pages
and includes:

  * The basics: PSA, staging, grading
  * Dealing with sexual issues after treatment, with
     help from VEDs, injections, etc (illustrated)
  * Side-effects of treatments and what to do
  * First person stories
  * Section for companions/partners
  * Videos
  * Site search engine
  * An interactive, illustrated glossary with over 800 entries
     plus a free personal edition you can download to your computer

The site is heavily illustrated but all images are optimized for fast
page loading.

Phoenix5 is a non-profit, US 501(c)3 organization and is not connected
or related to any other group.

Robert Young
dx 11/23/99 PSA 1000+ Stage M1c

To help men and their companions overcome
the effects of prostate cancer"

Robert died on June 15, 2003
He lives on through the Phoenix5 website.

Hi Joe,

I haven't here for a while so I hope you don't mind me commenting.  Phoenix5
was a big help to me prior to and after my prostatectomy.

I had to scroll a long way down to find this new message:  I almost gave up
thinking my new message count was incorrect.

Perhaps it might be better if the reminder was posted as a new message once
a month or whenever you do it.

Regards,
Ron....
