Sore Testicles

I'm 3 weeks post op. I had an LRP and I'm having some dribbles thru the
day. I have tried a variety of pads, all of which seem to work.

My question is this, has anyone experienced sore testicles? I seem to
think its due to stuffing pads in underwear and using tighter than normal
undies to keep pad in place. Are some pads better than others and still
absorbant? Has anyone made any modifications to over the counter pads.

I know it seems dumb but you dont know unles you ask.

Could be post op trauma, or tight clothes.  Are you sitting alot? Try
walking when you can. Looser clothes, with one pad for a week to see if that
helps. Meantime Tylenol may be in order as well.

Or maybe ibuprofen or aspirin.  Tylenol relieves pain, but ibuprofen
and aspirin also relieve inflammation - which might be involved in your
pain.

Jaccuso,
Yes! Very very tender. At first I thought, hell, I think I might have
the indications of testicular cancer! I asked my urologist and he first
put me on an antibiotic to make sure a low level infection had not
started. Then he checked my testicles very closely (by palpitation) and
said the tenderness will  s l o w l y  go away. And it is. But the
discomfort was quite distacting. Anything that put pressure on my
testicles or groin hurt. But it is slowly going away. I guess patience
is needed.

We have just had very major surgery and the body responds in many different
ways.

My testicles were tender for around 3 weeks and then overnight -- gone --
the discomfort! Also the front of my thighs were very sore a bit like
arthritis. This cleared up after 3 weeks. All I took was Paracetamol, 2 tabs
(500mg) in the morning along with a Cox inhibitor for 1 week post op. I made
sure I did heaps of walking and increasingly difficult exercises so that 1
month out I'm practically back to normal. Unfortunately no erections yet but
this will come.... I'm looking forward to getting the okay from my Uro to
get back on my push bike as I really beleive exercise is the clue to getting
rid of most aches and pains - listen to your body, don't over do it but try
to increase your mobility as much as possible and drink crazy amounts of
filtered water.
