Phil had his cath out yesterday late afternoon, and started to leak
non stop. Almost a steady stream, after a couple of hours it seemed
to slow up a bit, but it made us a little nervous urine had some blood
in it. Then in the middle of the night he actually had the urge and
got up was able to pee like crazy, seems like a few small clots were
disloged and then everything was ok. He only has minor leaking this
morning, and we are greatful for that. Monday will be two weeks, I
cannot believe how fast this recovery from robotic surgery is, we are
considering ourselves extremely lucky. We've had a plumbing problem
for a week now waiting for a part, a year ago this would have made
both of us crazy, now it is a minor issue. I cannot believe how much
both or our priorities and goals have changed since January.

Right, nothing to worry about with that leaking and those blood clots.
And if he doesn't feel the Kegels exercises working for a week or so, that
will be normal too.

Congratulations to you and Phil, Lillian, it sounds like he's doing
great. I have mine out tomorrow morning and I must admit to being a
little nervous over the incontinence thing. My RP (conventional) was Sat
13th, 2 weeks also, and my recovery has been pretty good so far.
Good luck for continuing improvement with all of the "plumbing" problems :-)

So far, so good, Lillian. I had almost exactly the same first couple of
days experience.

Good report! I had a scary time when mine was clear for about 5 days,
then one morning after going all night without getting up it was pink.
I thought "oh great, something broke from being so full". I
mentioned it to my URO and he said it was all normal, nothing to worry
about. It cleared up and now at 3 months I am almost to the point to
throw the pads away.
Sounds normal!!!!!!
