Philski:
How about an update on the incontinence? Did you improve? When I
first had the catheter out I had to use the urinal to walk from the bed to
the bathroom because the urine just came out. For several months when I
tried to Kegel while urinating I could stop the stream but it just started
up again right away even though I was still clamping down. For me it took
seven months to get down to one pad a day. Most guys forget Depends by
month 3. I hope you are getting better.
Thank you.

I am improving (I think) - I can get through the entire night with
little or no wetting but still wear a Depend. And I can sit in chairs -
particularly those that don't put pressure on the area behind my scrotum
and as long as I "kegel" (a verb?) when I stand up or move abruptly, I
can tend to hold it until I get to the restroom and let it go. But when
I am upright, i.e. standing in the woodshop, I just leak and leak. It
just about runs open the whole time I stand. So I am hopeful that some
damn day it will slow down. Keeping a good attitude - considering that
that is approx. 3 Depends/day therefore 1095 a year which figures about
$821.00 per year - so I am prepared to spend 68.00 to 70.00 a month for
protection.
I am scheduled to go back to work on March 8th. Being on "Short-term
Disability" kinda cuts down on our income. It will be nice to get a full
paycheck going again.
Oh well.....
