For some reason, people who fancy themselves to be reasonable
human beings will often say that a therapy doesn't work
because mainstream science hasn't proven that it works.

That's not a logical statement.

For example: Nearly every week, new species of plants
and animals are discovered by mainstream science.

According to the logic of the alternative therapy sceptics,
those plants and animals didn't exist before they were
discovered by mainstream science.

Yeah uh... Wrong. Do you actually know anything about science. Just so you
know its science or its pseudoscience there is no "mainstream".
What exactly did you learn while earning your 2 degree's alan?

I'm just so glad no one takes you seriously. Ever wonder why there arent
very many people in your cult? (alan/tom isnt a scientologist)
I notice you don't use your sethcenter bull here, why is that?

Tom- no one is saying that all alternative therapies are rubbish.
That is just your interpretation of what HAS been said.

I don't think that anyone has said that an alternative therapy cannot
be used IN ADDITION TO CURRENTLY ACCEPTED THERAPIES.

I had cancer.  I survived it using a variety of means.  But the most
effective things I did was remove the cancer and follow the
chemotherapy protocol.

The way you go on reminds me of the nutjobs that were screaming at
women coming out of chemo that they were doing something on the same
order as abortion.  Guess what?  I didn't love my tumor and I am glad
I killed it.  Because it would have killed me if I had done anything
differently.

You want to use creative visualization in addition to recommended
therapies?  Be my guest.
