I have a very bad back and am limited as to how much I do. So if I can't
vacuum and husband doesn't get it done, Mom works on it. It may take her 2
days to do living room, kitchen, a couple of hallways, her bathroom and
bedroom. She does all the cleaning or her room and normally puts dishes away
from dishwasher. When weather is decent she walks outside with her wheeled
walker, either in the lane or on the porch if too wet. She enjoys flower
gardening so we have raised beds to make it easier on her. She does laundry
on Mondays. For being 81 she does great and so far no problems from the
liver cancer. Grandkids are all adults. She has 3 but only close to my 2.
They come down and see her at least once a month. She looks forward to that.
She also loves to talk on the phone. She has 2 sisters still living both
younger. One of them has health problems so she calls her daily and at least
twice a week for the other one. Plus she has old friends she calls weekly.
Loves to read , watch TV and listens to records, tapes and cds. All Country
music thank god because she is hard of hearing and it can be heard
throughout the house. Guess this is about enough info for 1 time. Thanks J
for asking. I do take time for myself. If nothing else I go take a long hot
whirlpool when things start closing in too much. Enough for now.

Thanks so much Gloria. It's' wonderful to hear how she takes care of things
herself and how well she's feeling.
I'm glad to hear you're able to get some "me-time" for yourself in the
whirlpool.
Take care and thanks again.
Until next update.
