If you haven't heard the internet buzz fans of the show Side Order of
Life are joining forces to save the most honest and entertaining show
depicting a cancer survivor ever on television!!!

SIDE ORDER of Life is in danger of being cancelled. WE CAN NOT LET
THAT HAPPEN! Cancer survivors are by far the most ardent supporters of
the show because it portrays our journey with heart, humor and without
the cliches that we've seen elsewhere. LET's show em we fight....not
just against the big C...but with media issues too!

IT IS SURVIVOR television. If that DOES matter to you and you want a
chance to see it come back to television...join our crusade!

CBS brought back Jericho after viewers sent tons of peanuts to CBS
studios!!

Err.. I think this is advertising.
Besides, you've posted every few days. That's quite enough.
Now go bother some TV related newsgroups.

Thanks for the fyi, Paul.
I'm sure that people who wish to protest can find the movie's webpage and
do so.

How dare you.
Just for your information and "FYI" I am a volunteer with i[2]y this
organization and this is not "advertising".
If I was advertising why on earth would I use my name?
I am a genuine fan of the show and also an advocate for the rights of
young adults with cancer...no one pays me to do anything.

I am not paid to advocate, I am not paid to be a fan of the show. Like
the rest of you I just wanted to send a message that I thought other
survivors could undestand. I am just a member. I make a miniscule
salary as a teacher's aide and I just happen to believe in a show that
has shown truth in a journey I've walked myself.

Shocking how you people seem to be so ready to attack someone who
believes in something. So much for finding kinship in this group. What
do you all attack each other here?
It's sad that someone in this group is so mean spirited. Guess there
are angry vindictive people everywhere.

Please don't be discouraged by "J".  She is an unrepentant criminal
who trolls this group, pretending to be in charge (it's unmoderated,
so nobody is), and attacking anyone she disagrees with.  She is
certainly not the only vicious person who posts here, but is the most
prolific, and amazingly has built a fan base here among the gullible
and inattentive.  The better path is to ignore her posts and focus on
the many better contributors.  You're quite welcome in ASC.

To support other (newsgroup people); however thyroid and lymphoma patients are
(mostly) on private lists:
Thyroid cancers
http://www.thyca.org/support.htm and  http://www.thyca.org/email.htm
Lymphoma (NHL) Go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/nhl/.

People have disagreements on Usenet, just like in real life.
Just because you write things do not make them true.
I am not a criminal and not a troll. I am a supporter and have been for many
years.
You're a relative newbie who self-professes to not read every post.
In fact, if a person checks your Google profile, there's months when we barely
hear from you.
Too busy elsewhere, apparently.

It's exactly the reverse. They know I can be relied upon to provide information
from reliable sources and back it up with reliable links.
I cannot cure their cancers, but (when the) chips are down, I'm here for them.
Good news, I'm here for them.
If you'd bothered clicking on a few of the links that have been posted here in
just the past 10 days, you would understand why some '"rules" protect this
newsgroup from trolls and other nasties, which have to remain unmentioned.
Only a few trusted people know the problems and that's not you.

And that's not you.

If you reply to this post, I may or may not reply, depending.
For the sake of the people of the newsgroup, to keep the peace and/or (save on)
my time and energy.
And focus on the more deserving people.

So you think that Walt Disney Company and the Hearst Corporation are
non-profit?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifetime_Television
This is _not_ alt.support.tvshows
3 times in 10 days was over-doing - you got my attention.

Thanks for the demo of a dramedy.
I think I'll write to Lifetime and thank them for stopping the show.
What was the address again?

Listen "J"  Who do you think you are? Matt Drudge?
I do not work for a non-profit, I volunteer for an organization.
Volunteer---ever tried that instead of attacking random strangers for
fun with your free time?

And you are neither skillful at private investigating nor bringing
anything to light.
I am a teachers aide, I do not work for Disney or Hearst. I am an
ordinary person like everyone else here. I am a survivor of two bouts
with cancer and this show just really spoke out to me. The very
spiteful, hateful negative energy in this world that you have shown me
is exactly why this show seemed my own ray of light.

Just because you know how to google doesn't make you a gumshoe. And if
you were you'd be not worth your salt.
I am a person who happens to believe in a show that I care about. I am
a fan and someone who wanted to just let people know.

Evidently you have people on here who understand your track record of
spitfire because I've already read their assesment.
You obviously have some issues that I can neither psychologically
address nor begin to understand. Cancer is the least of your problems.
