Hello...I want to know if there are any women out there who are familiar with
the affects of oxyliplatin and how it relates to you in terms of early
menopause.  I have been told that by using oxyliplatin I have a 50-50 chance
of getting thrown into early menopause.  My doctors are also talking about an
ovary transposition in hopes of saving my ovaries from the damage of
radiation treatment.  I just don't know if I should  bother having the
transposition (which would only be done to save me from early menopause) if
I'm just going to go through it anyway due to the oxyliplatin.   Any
information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello Christa,
If I were you, I would ask the radiation oncologist.
He (or she) knows which part(s) of the body are going to be treated and with
which RT technologies.
Best wishes
