Hi Everyone-
Anything would be helpful...
My 10 year old daughter is suspected to have lymphoma.
We live in a small town, so we are heading to the Bay Area for further
assistance by a pediatric pulmonoligist on Thursday.
It started as "pneumonia" at the end of October. She seemed to be
slowly improving, only to start getting worse in December.
We are X-rays and a CT scan later and the lower lungs have atelectisis
caused by, I'm assuming the thymus?, lymph node enlargement pressing
on three segments of bronchus.
We expect to have biopsy by broncoscopy.
Any adivice?
Thanks so much in advance...

Try not to speculate until the results are in and the diagnosis is made.
Lymphomas are generally very responsive to treatment however.
