Found out today that Mom's liver cancer in only in the right lobe. First
injection off pellets is set for Jan. 18 at 2 P.M.. Mom's outlook is good.
Not ready to die but if it happens it just does. She feels she would rather
die receiving the pellets than die little by little each day and be
bed-ridden with no quality. The oncologist we saw today works with the Dr.
doing the pellets. We are 65-70 miles from the hospital where it is being
done. In case of an emergency the oncologist is only 20 miles away and the
hospital we would use. He said he would see to her care at that time if it
would be needed. Also that later down the road she might need some chemo and
he said they have been having some luck with some pills. We will wait and
see. Guess getting everything set up for the long run. She even asked him
about donating her body to science and he knows of a woman that handles that
but that is in the future he told her. About it for now. Will keep you
updated as I find out more on either one of them.

Very reassuring, Gloria. Good idea to check things out ahead of time.
Rest well. You've done good.
I look forward to hearing how things go.
