My dad was prescribed Matulane but it is nowhere to be found, even in
the hospital's pharmacy.

Any trusted online or other sources out there... ones that would carry
it?

Thank you VERY much,

Ralph

Hi J,

Yes, it is procarbazine. We can't find it in San Diego.

Have you tried Walgreens?
It's mentioned at wikipedia

I don't understand why they'd prescribe something that's not available.
Another place to ask would be the relevant list at ACOR
http://www.acor.org/mlists/mlists.html
If no luck at Walgreens. let me know the type of cancer.
I might have a better place for you to ask other patients.
I would also call the hospital drugstore and ask when more will be arriving or
what the cause of delay is.
If it's going to be long and your Dad needs it soonest, his oncologist should
be advised of the difficulty.
(might have sources/tips of where to get it).
