Hi Richard,
I searched both the newsgroup archives and Google search and neither comes
up with anything on that word, which would be anything related to cancer.
The closest guess (and I could be wrong) I could come up with would be
squamous???
and that could be anything from a small skin lesion to major cancer, so I
guess you'll have to get us more informiation, before we can give you any
information. Do talk to your mother, find out more and we'll help as best
we can.

Might that be "squamous cell carcinoma"? If so, it's a fairly common
skin cancer. For information, try:
