Does the person flooding this group actually read it, or can we at least
make it more useful by putting some kind of ON-TOPIC indicator in our
subject lines to make it easier to weed out the garbage posts ?

I sat here this afternoon and put the glasses symbol on every name I
recognised fom this group. Way too many to label with the crossed slash.
This will work with Outlook Express.
I then combined all the others and decoded and they all appear to be
read. My choice.

no, please.
They'll all thread together, no matter how many years difference AND if one
thread is assailed (by alties or spammers), and we want to killfile the
thread, all will be kf'd.
