Is it possible to have some sort of full body scan or medical to
finger print my state of health?
With some family history of cancer, I would like to be checked out
fully.
If this is availalable on the NHS so much the better, but
alternatively, how would I do this privately?
Ideally I'm looking for something in Lincolnshire / Midlands

Thanks

You can have the scan, but it won't "fingerprint your health"

See your doctor. He'll take a history and do a physical exam. Might even do
some blood tests.
But if you feel healthy, anything else is worse than worthless.

I'm sure you could find a private clinic to throw your money away quite
easily.
Save yourself some time, though, and some effort. Give it to charity

Ok thanks for the info. are blood tests the most reliable indicator of
anything abnormal for someone in general good health? without wanting
to go off topic too much, what does an MRI indicate?

Thanks

These scans are like as not to give you a false positive result which will
then require other more invasive tests, which may still come to nothing.
Better to leave the MRI for times when you already have other symptoms or
evidence that something is wrong.
