Robert woke up this morning with all of his hair coming out on his pillow.
We didn't think this would happen.  We went ahead and shaved what was left.
Even his body hair is coming out.  It's a really big shock to him, and he's
worried about dying without hair.  He told me he wants a closed casket.  I
assured him he would get that.  He's just really upset right now and very
depressed.  I'm about to go see him again, and I will write more on his
condition when I get back.  Thanks so much for all the support I've
received, which makes this easier to bear.....Warmly, Chris

Sorry to hear about Robert's hair. It is very distressing when the
hair comes out. I took shower one day and went I came out all my hair
was gone. The hospice should have a social worker and or a chaplin
that sounds like a good resource for him. Alex

You're a good friend to have, Christine.
Robert's fortunate to have you.
