Saw the Dr. today and tumors has shrunk 15% after 8 week round of chemo in a
clinical trial. The Dr. was very pleased due to the aggressive nature and
spread of his cancer. Starting another 8 week round today. Clinical trial
would like to see 20% reduction in the first round but Dr. thinks his is
great news for us. The 3rd treatment they had to cut the strength due to
dangerously low white blood count so maybe that is why the 5% difference.
Even though no cure if he is able to continue on with this treatment
hopefully it will buy him more time and enjoyment in the time left to him.
Thanks everybody for your support.

Hello Gloria,
Colon cancer spread to both lungs and lymph nodes in trunk of body.
Phase III clinical triial.

It's hard to know if he'll do better than the other arm of the trial.
That's the purpose of the trial to answer the questions.
He's passed or will be shortly, the 60 days endpoint (timeframe) in the clinical
trial

Secondary
   * Compare response, progression-free survival, time to treatment failure,
and duration of response in patients with unresectable disease treated with
these regimens.
   * Compare toxicity and 60-day survival of patients with unresectable disease
treated with these regimens."
and some shrinkage  Well done !

Thanks for checking in. I do hope you're having some quality times together.
