This qigong/religion group called Falun Gong has many health claims
like this one, where late stage liver cancer was healed.

Matter of fact, according to Falun Gong, there's no such thing as
illness, only manifestation of karma.

What's the expert's take on this? Thanks.

"The medical examination verified that I was in the last stages of
liver cancer. There were three tumors as big as eggs. I stayed in the
hospital for three days and it cost me more than 20,000 yuan. I got
discharged from the hospital."

Medical fraud on the part of the Chinese hospital.

"Forty days later, I went to the hospital to have another examination.
It cost me another 20,000 yuan and nothing had not improved at all."

Medical fraud on the part of the Chinese hospital.

"In March this year, I went to a hospital in Qingdao City to have a
physical examination. The three tumors were no longer there."

There were never any tumors.

There are the same kinds of problems in the United States.

"It's a widow maker, you need heart surgery".

Rusty, at least you seem to be intelligent enough to know what this
story is really about. Did you need my hint? It will be interesting to
see if Charles Liu replies now to insist still that this is a story
which is a total fabrication from Falun Gong (rather than a story
about the first hospital cheating the patient out of 40,000 yuan).

It would also be interesting to know what the second hospital (the one
in Qingdao City) did with the information regarding the actions of the
first hospital. Apparently they did not inform the patient. If they
contacted the "authorities," then the authorities did not inform the
patient. It would be interesting to know if the second hospital
contacted the first, and what the details of that discussion
entailed ... Hmmmm.

Medical fraud is wide-spread and occurring throughout the world.  No
question about it.

falun gong is just a migration cult isn't it? Go to the US/Aus/UK then when
your visa runs out you claim you are a falun gong member and that you'll be
persecuted when you get home? That's how it works isn't it?

Thanks for the tips. I'm sure they'll appreciate them.

Yes, it may.

To cure the cancer, you have to forget the cancer first!

Qigong can make you feel better!
