To all you people on regular medication for symptom control don't forget to
check you have plenty of prescriptions and supplies to see you through the
long weekend when pharmacies may be closed and doctors scarce.
This may be obvious but you can bet I will get three or four requests from
my patients along these lines this weekend.
If you are getting new symptoms or are concerned about something tell your
nurse/doctor now. He/she may be able to head off the problem or put a plan
in place to deal with it should it become a problem.
These are, of course, things that we should prepare for every weekend but
you would be surprised!
All have the very best Christmas you can

Such a kind posting, Mike!  Thanks very much for your thoughtfulness.

Thanks Mike,
I know that many of our Pharmacies are closed here in town, and the one that
is open cannot transfer narcotics that my bf is taking into the store.  We
made sure that we had all we needed for the holiday and are stocking up for
the new year holiday as well.  When on Pain medication, nothing is worse
than running out when it is a regular scheduled dosage.  The side
effects/withdrawals can be almost as bad as the pain it is trying to
control.
