cross-posting.  This is a mystery to me.  In a way, you've already
introduced yourself.  Maybe you don't know how newsgroups work?

When we reply to people, we generally do so in a thread.  This reply to
you is perhaps not such a good example of that, but if you scroll
through other topics, you will see what I mean.
