Hello, J and the group;
I didn't write long time, but was lurking.

This morning I woke up with sudden pain in my left nostril :
My right nostril has been closed by a tissue
for 2-3months now and the doc. said that I
should have a surgery someday.
The right nostril was congested but then opened and like
is opening and closing all day long;
Too painful in surrounding bones and around eyes;
Pain in the head and specially forhead all day and feeling
very weak; even tylenol and other painkiller medication didn't help;
I am seeing ENT tommorow evening; but I would like to ask to
see if there is something to aleviate before that and what the symptoms
look like? - Sinus infection (which I never had before), gripose or some
complication
or what? Like there is wound immidiately in the nostril, I can't even touch
it.

Ah, remember that my diagnose and treatment was about NPC.

My prayers for Penny.

I'm sorry about your pain, Araik.
I'd try circular massage. if it was me, of cheek areas and work way up, around the
eyes, between the eyes, around and above the eyebrows. [with warm moist facecloth and
fingers].  I just tried it on myself and my cat and she purred - (she doesn't like me
to touch her nostrils/nose - must be painful)

I'm also currently taking half 5/325 oxycocet, 3 or 4 times a day for pain elsewhere.
They say "side effects  that may go away during treatment, include dizzizness,
drowsiness, lightheadedness, constipation, nausea or vomiting."
I do get some drowsy but none of the other.

It also says don't take other tylenol with it, so I don't.

My main point is the warm circular massage and the medication I take is NOT slow
release.
If massage makes it worse, I'm sorry, I don't what to suggest, but get doctor on phone.

Thanks for response, J.
I woke up today a bit better  and seeing ENT later.
But
> I just tried it on myself and my cat and she purred ...

this is second time you tell me what you do to your cat
when I ask you for an advise

please response me in secret, friendly, -
are you indeed idiot now and then or pretend to be one
because this is what you have been ordered to do by those
... who pay you?

The vet thinks my cat has NPC.
I'm a glutton for punishment.
Good to hear your pain is better, Araik.

What I am suppose to say?
"Go f.-up with your cat?"

No, I'll not tell that.
Thanks for being careful to me on my treatment period.

Of course, you're worried the cancer's come back.
I did the best I could with ideas to alleviate...
How'd things go with the ENT last evening, Araik?
J - thinking of you.

Fortunately he found it was infection.
I got antibiotic and ointment.
Both nostrils were not available for viewing inside,
so I am visiting again right after healing nose.

Thanks.
