Thanks Fig. I'm hoping it won't be long now. They've gone through
enough. I can't help feeling it's time to let go...
Hugs for Pen and all her family; extra special hugs for Fig and for
anyone else here who's actually met Penny and got to know her properly.

I read the log every day and very sorry to hear things took a turn for
the worst. I hope she won't have to be in pain any longer.

Penny and Mike, you will always be in our prayers. You have fought a good
fight, now rest easy.
Betsy
I just got home from visiting her and yes it's been a tough week for her,
Michael and the rest of the family but she's in good hands. She's even had
times now where her pain level has been at 0 and had a really good night
last night. Wooohoooo!! :) She's had moments of being awake a little more
and has even taken a few bites of food. She's had an IV for nausea, plasma
and dextrose as well. Her color is still jaundice but not what it was
earlier in the week. It looks like she'll have the stent inserted in her
liver for sure on Monday.
Sorry if I haven't explain things quite technically correct! But the just
of it all is that everything seems to be much more under control. :)
Maybe Steph or someone could better explain what the stent is going to do.
Not sure I took everything in completely while I was there.

I sure hope Steph or J can explain what the stint does. I am so glad to hear
she is doing this well. We all have been waiting for any word and your's
were the best news so far. Take care of Trish, Mike, and family. Penny has
an army to back her up. Plus her God must be surely on her side.
Hugs to all of you,
Betsy

It's very good to hear that they are getting Pen's pain under control and
making her more comfortable.
It's a very hard situation to be in, please send Warm Hugs to Pen and her
family.

Trish,
I hope this is not an intrusion. Do you know if Chris & Aaron's band
are touring with BNL this fall? They are due to play Denver 11/21 & I
was wondering. Thought it would be great to see Penny's step-son.
Please don't intrude on my behalf...
Sending more soothing vibes to all of you & will keep fingers crossed
for successful procedure tomorrow.
Many hugs,
Fig

I think they're still hoping to but nothing's been worked out or confirmed
that I know of and Aaron's website doesn't say anything about it. But if
they do, definitely go see them. Chris is absolutely a fantastic guitar
player!
I will let you all know how things go tomorrow.

Sounds so much better than before. Along with the rest of your family we
wish for her to have nothing but peace. Sounds like her team is providing
that. Take care of yourself and the rest of the family. Our thoughts and
prayers are with you.

Checking up on Penny and Michael this morning and am I glad I did. Her
surgery is over and I know how frightening this procedure is. My husband had
one similar three years ago. Thank God both were sucessful.
Maybe we will hear from Penny herself in a few days. I will let her explain.
Maybe some good time ahead, huh. Pen?
Prayers are still coming.
