My cousin was diagnosed with non-hodgkins, b cell lymphoma in March of this
year. I believe it is stage 1. He had his kidney removed, which contained a
tumor. He has been receiving chemo treatments and just completed his last
one yesterday (CHOP R). For the past 5 days, he has been running a fever.
Last night it was 101.5. His internist sent him for a chest X ray, urine
culture, and throat culture. Paul has no other symptoms. The MD is hoping it
is a "bug." Fever was the initial symptom he had with the lymphoma. Any
thoughts on this? Thanks in advance. I think you're all great!!

It's much more likely a fever due to infection.
I hope they have checked his white count............

Thanks, Steph. Yes, prior to the chemo yesterday, they did blood work and
reportedly the red and white blood counts were OK.
