"My name is Diana Morrell. I am 56 years old. On December 23rd 1994 I
heard the words that every woman fears. "From all the indications it
appears you have breast cancer. As soon as Christmas is over we will
have to do a biopsy to be sure."
I don't need to tell you that Christmas was not a happy time that
year. On Dec. 27th I had the biopsy and it came back positive.
Fortunately I had a wonderful young doctor who advised me to have a
lumpectomy and chemotherapy. Thus saving me the further trauma of
loosing my breast. On January 7th I learned that the cancer was in my
lymph nodes. I went ahead and endured chemotherapy. Yes all my hair
fell out and it was a very difficult time.
During this time I took lots of vitamins minerals and even used the
mushroom tea that was so popular at that time. Another problem that I
had was depression. Many factors caused this and I was finally given
Zoloft to help me snap out of my poor state of mind. I know you are
asking, "Why didn't she just take Noni juice?" If you will look at
the dates you will see that Noni was not available to the general
public at that time.
It wasn't until November 1996 that a good friend of mine, Jacqueline
Miller, called and told me about Noni. Always one to try anything I
feel will help my health I immediately bought a bottle. Within a few
weeks I noticed I was feeling better but it took a couple of months for
me to realize that it was the Noni that was making the difference. My
doctors are amazed at how well I have done the last few years and how
well my blood count has gone back to normal. I also was able to get off
the Zoloft two years ago and have never felt the need to go back on.
I'm now sure that I could have gotten off sooner but things were
going so well that I was afraid to change anything.
I am now in my last six months before I get to that infamous five-year
mark. I am doing great and all my blood work indicates that everything
is normal. I would be lying if I told you that I don't worry about
the cancer coming back but everyday cancer free is another step away
from that fear. I plan to take Noni for the rest of my life.

I am too.
Gee, I wonder why the oncological hospitals don't have this stuff in
their cafeteria cold beverage machines.

I'm puzzled. was the original post SPAM? I thought it was.
They sell Noni Juice at Sam's Club. Kinda makes it a little suspect IMHO

Look at the dates. This story has been recycled for years. They don't
even bother to update - she'd be coming up on 12 years from diagnosis, not
5, this Christmas.

Yws it's spam and unsubstantiated claims in consumer testimonials.
One or another comes through various newsgroups, every once in a while.
There's a lady, on another newsgroup, from Hawaii, who says they use the
real thing, as for instance, the leaves on a sprain. So some hawaiians or
NZ'landers use it (the leaves or root) for medicinal purposes. "some say
it's toxic" (she said), so the commercial version must be a watered down
beverage . in any event, it does nothing for cancer.
Ignore.

This product, has been touted as cures for diabetes for the past 8 years,
notwithstanding the excessive sugars in it. Back then, there was no
scientific study on it, except snake oil praise from scum, proclaiming its
values. Save your money and time, and hope that Ms. Morrell crawl back into
her hole, and wait until the next pile of dirt which comes her way.

It wasn't even "Morrell" who posted it.
It's an Iranian from the Toronto area, spamming...
(their posts are archived, some years ago, on their various attemps to get into
Canada).
Someone gave them tips.

When I am against something, there should be a reason for my opinion.
When I am for something the same. I have read a lot of information
about the benefits of Noni and I agree that there are a lot of hype
too. And I know that there are low quality, pasteurized, sugarized Noni
juices. I agree that there are a lot of MLM distributers of this
products (some overpriced low quality). It might not be a good idea to
spam newsgroups to sell products. I agree and I am not going to send
promotional messages any more.
I heard about Noni first time when a friend of mine gave some bottles
of Noni to my close friend who was a stage 4 cancer patient, he had
Liposarcoma with metastasis to liver. He had gone through different
chemotherapy treatments as well as homeopathy, IV therapy as well as
other naturapathic doctors. He passed away on June 12th, 2006 in York
Hospital, Toronto. and I don't want to say that Noni or any other
miracle cure saved my friend's life, when it didn't. But I don't go
against it because of the spammers, or some negative points I see here
and there.
I am a Noni drinker and I made sure that it is certified organic with
no sugar or any harmful additive. I don't get 4 day long migraine
headaches anymore and I don't get it as often as before (At least twice
a month). I can say that I don't have migraine anymore and it is a fact
for me. I know for a fact that Noni has some benefits and since it is
an organic juice and not a harmful chemical like all the chemically
produced foods you see in commercials everyday, I cannot accept that it
is harmful. I'd rather drink a shot of Noni juice everyday than go to
macdonalds and drink Coka Cola.
