We have no way of knowing the funds will go where you say.
Anybody can make up a webpage and put an AMC logo on it.
I would suggest with $5,000 that you can help a whole lot of people at

There's more than a few with medical issues (bills) including a cancer
patient.
(their) Documentation has to be provided to those who run the website.
